His and Her Traditional Bathroom Remodel

My team and I just finished up this bathroom this week!

resized blue and white

This master bathroom needed a revamp! The client never used their Jacuzzi tub so I suggested they get rid of it. We were able to extend the shower out a bit adding some needed extra room.

We didn't want to go too over budget so we had to work with the existing window.

By removing the tub, we were able to add some gorgeous lighted shelving.  Adding some beautiful accessories made this bathroom feel so much more luxurious.

The chandelier makes this little area so special.

We took away the step up into the shower and it is now handicap accessible. The bench is perfect for sitting if needed or just for that leg lift while you shave.

We customized the niches according to the size of the shampoo bottles the client uses.  They both love bar soap so the bottom niche is for that. I purchased some beautiful soap dishes so the niche doesn't get all yucky with soap scum.

The pearl accent tile is my favorite on the outside wall.  Especially since it has glass bullnose above and below it.

The new granite really looks amazing.

We refaced the cabinets, painted a light gray and added crystal and brushed nickel hardware. New oversized floor tile updated the bathroom too.

A new rug and vanity stool warms up the space.

These shots are all close ups of the gorgeousness in this bathroom. These European soaps "Lavender" are my favorite. I layered the river rocks amongst the soaps to add texture and to tie in the bench colors.

The faux succulents look so nice in the niche above the bench.

Thank you Jamie Gray for capturing these amazing images. http://jamiegray.net/

The best part about this bathroom remodel is that the client trusted me completely.  I was able to make some really great, creative decisions along the way. I truly believe that is why this bathroom turned out so amazing! I always appreciate a client that hires the experts and then trusts them to do their job to the fullest.

I received this text from my client last night:

"Oh Ruthie, I just want  to tell you again, how much I love the bathroom!! It is absolutely gorgeous!  I was just sitting in there on my new bench, in the sun, talking to my mom.  You are truly the best and have given us a gorgeous home!"

This girl slept well last night!
