Coral & Blush Baby Nursery

I recently met with a client that was needing inspiration for her baby nursery. We had worked together before on her dining room, living room and master bathroom.

She was pregnant with their first baby and their baby girl needed a beautiful nursery!

She had a ton of ideas and needed me to help direct her and hold her hand during the process.  She wanted the walls to be a soft peach and envisioned a floral border. We pulled some ideas together and started the design process together.

They had this glider but it was the wrong color.  No problem, we reupholstered it in a light coral linen and used a contrasting dark coral cording to make it pop!  Isn't it beautiful?

The rug is a similar color with a light floral border.

She had the existing draperies already since it was a guest room previously. We decided to keep those.  I suggested we paint the hardware white so that is what she did (it use to be brown). We added beautiful crystal beading to the edge of the drapery panels and they sparkle when the light shines in. We found a gorgeous chandelier that we both loved and added a medallion to make it fancy!

The client found the crib that is a antique look alike and her mom made the bedding.  Didn't she do a good job?  My workroom and I designed the tulle canopy and it looks so beautiful with the decorative rose wrought iron hardware.  The lace bedskirt is just so feminine and soft too.

We pulled the tulle back with drapery pullbacks and they coordinate beautifully with the crib and the crystal wall sconces.  I love how the artist added the roses around the sconces. So sweet!

Her friend made the rose mobile and gave it to her at one of her showers.  I just love the cascading roses!

We added crystal hardware to the closet doors and painted the doors the wall color!

The changing table got new crystal hardware too.

A cute little shelf was hung above the changing table.

My client went to Italy this summer and they found this adorable little 1920's lamp for next to the glider.  Now they have a story to tell her about where and how they found it on their trip, just for her.

I had this cute little antique bergere chair painted and upholstered for them as their gift and it really added some more sophisticated cuteness to the nursery. It works nicely with the white draperies.

It turned out beautifully don't you think?

Baby Olivia was born and is about 1 week old!  Mom and dad love her new room and I'm sure as she grows up, she will too! Wouldn't you???
